  • Who is the Blood Sugar Defense Program designed for?
Our program is specifically tailored for individuals aged 30 and older who are experiencing symptoms of poorly controlled blood sugar, pre-diabetes, or Type 2 diabetes. It's also suitable for anyone looking to improve their health through manageable lifestyle changes.
  • How should I prepare for my initial consultation with Dr. Jennie Ding?
To ensure you get the most out of your initial consultation with Dr. Jennie Ding, we'll send you a set of intake forms prior to your appointment. It's important to complete these forms as thoroughly as possible before your visit. The information you provide will help Dr. Ding understand your current health conditions, lifestyle, and personal goals. This preparation allows more time during the consultation to focus on reviewing your specific needs and developing a tailored health plan that aligns with your objectives. Filling out the forms in advance ensures that your session with Dr. Ding is efficient and productive, setting a strong foundation for your journey in the Blood Sugar Defense Program.
  • Do I need to do on-going lab tests and additional investigations?
Dr. Jennie Ding may recommend you to do intermittent blood tests for cholesterol, blood sugars, and other tests as needed. However, because we serve clients from many locations, Dr. Ding will not be ordering these tests directly. Instead, she will ask you to follow up with your primary care provider to complete these tests. This is another way that we are helping to ensure that your primary care provider is involved in your care every step of the way.
  • Will I be prescribed medications in the Blood Sugar Defense Program?
No. Although Dr. Ding is a physician, she will only focus on lifestyle factors around your health and will not prescribe medications or order investigations. She may advise you to follow up with your primary care provider for medication changes and investigations if needed.
